Lent is known as a time to give up things. I have friends who are giving up social media, beer, saying unkind things, and sugar. I tried giving up coffee once; I may have made it one whole week.

Rather than asking you to give up something, we are offering you something - come get a free cup of coffee from our coffee bar and get a free plate of breakfast goodness! Not only is this a great way to start your day, but it is also a wonderful low-key way to meet people in a "non-churchy" setting.

There is a seat at the table for all ages, and everyone is welcome.

You are also welcome to stay for worship, which begins at 10:59 am. We are in a series that helps us understand how God has kept his promises to us through Jesus, and what this means for us. Here's a little something to get you thinking ahead for Sunday: why do you suppose so many people know John 3:16 but not John 3:17?

John 3:16-17, NLT

"[16} For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. [17] God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him."

Come have a cup of coffee and let's explore together how Jesus makes the dead live!
